SPECTER OF TREASON - THE OSWALD TRIAL - by J.E.Ballantyne, Jr.

Courtroom Drama - A fictionalized account, based on factual information, of what could have happened if accused JFK assassin, Lee Harvey Oswald, had lived and gone on trial for the assassination of President Kennedy. There is no jury onstage as the show is designed to have the audience act as the jury and thus render the verdict at each performance. BLOCK 5 - by J.E.Ballantyne, Jr.

A taut, psychological drama based upon actual events which took place at the Mauthausen Concentration Camp during World War II. Seven Jewish prisoners are segregated inside Block 5 at the Mauthausen Concentration Camp, away from the rest of the camp population in 1943. A captured British Naval Officer is soon thrown into the mix further complicating the situation. What follows is a harrowing fight for survival and dignity among the eight inmates. A real history lesson!

EDGAR ALLAN POE'S - THE TELL TALE HEART - by J.E.Ballantyne, Jr.

Edgar Allan Poe's most famous and most read story comes to life onstage. Adapted as a full length theatrical mystery/drama, "Edgar Allan Poe's - The Tell Tale Heart," is a riveting piece of theatre which will keep the most disinterested Poe reader, on the very edge of their seat for the entire performance. It has the intensity to grab the audience by the throat and pull them into the gruesome actions of the story's narrator, who describes his method and reasoning for killing the old man for whom he has attended for many years. Good roles for all major characters and manageable small roles for those with little or no experience. This show is a good starting point for new actors. The script sticks closely to the original Poe story with interesting scenes added to make it a full evening of exciting theatre.

EDGAR ALLAN POE'S: THE FALL OF THE HOUSE OF USHER - by J.E.Ballantyne, Jr.

One of Edgar Allan Poe's strangest tales comes to vivid life onstage. Roderick Usher and his sister Madeline, live alone in a secluded mansion in a desolute area. The house, old and crumbling, becomes an additional character in the piece as it "torments" Roderick who is already in questionable health. Horatio, and old school friend, arrives at the house upon Roderick's invitation. What follows is a true journey through the horror genre from the master of horror himself --- Edgar Allan Poe.
